Casa T, Sondrio

Casa T, Sondrio

Casa T is a project designed for a young couple from Sondrio (SO) with children with the aim of making more functional use of domestic space. A new two-storey building was thus designed, with the intention of enhancing the existing structures that could not be modified and intervening with construction work where necessary.

The design approach evolved in a sartorial manner in order to create a young, harmonious context. Particular attention was paid to the choice of materials, so that none prevailed over the other, generating a correct balance between the parts and a pleasant architectural taste.

The large PVC windows illuminate the rooms evenly and the glass doors give a feeling of greater breadth to the spaces. The lighting in Casa T is a characteristic element that gives the house a modern, avant-garde character, which is why the use of the Brooklyn lamp by Panzeri proved to be the most suitable choice for achieving the objective. Brooklyn’s pathways of light bring visual harmony to the domestic environment, welcoming guests into a space that combines functionality with high aesthetic appeal.

The different rooms that make up Casa T have been studied and designed by studio Moroni Architettura 2.0.
