Manufacture of light – MDW 25 – Euroluce

28/03/2025

Quality, tradition and innovation. These are the values on which Panzeri is based, founded in 1947 by Carlo Panzeri, an engineering entrepreneur with the dream of ‘making light’.

Based in Biassono in Brianza and distributed all over the world, it specialises in architectural lighting solutions through its Design, Architectural and Acoustic collections with decorative series, LED profiles and soundabsorbing products. Sustainability, energy saving and increased product life are the principles that guide the development in the company’s in-house research atelier. Panzeri’s historical vocation to craftmanship and production expertise in the transformation of materials, today expands towards new functions. Light is enabled to design the shape and well-being of spaces. The new Panzeri stand at Euroluce is the perfect interpretation of this: a true architectural installation, an experimental and absolute space where it will be possible to experience the five new product families. Through these, light will be expressed with different materials such as glass or fabric, bringing innovation in terms of engineering, craftsmanship, research.

ADAMAS
Design: Enzo Panzeri
A testament to skill and artistry, expressed through subtle nuances of texture, form and finish.

Adamas stands out for its iconic, enveloping shape that defines the space, through the soft shades of blown glass and the changing reflections of the hand-crafted geometric texture. This approach celebrates the timeless beauty of glass craftsmanship, blending tradition with the sensibility of contemporary design. Technique and attention to detail play a central role in its realisation. The careful process of hand grinding the glass reflects the dedication to quality and precision, creating a product that is both visually stunning and meticulously crafted.

The surface of the glass is manually etched using a skilled grinding technique. Each product is a unique piece, thanks to the approximately 300 facets that characterize its 8 millimeter thick glass.

The name Adamas finds its origins in the ancient Greece, where the characteristic hardness of the diamond earned it the nickname “adamas” (in ancient Greek, αδάμας), meaning the invincible or the indomitable.

OMBRA
Design: Jordi Blasi
The skillful combination of the flexibility of fabric with the rigidity of metal, exploring the idea of vulnerability and the limits of material properties.

The fabric is the starting point in the design of Ombra, which, without the aid of any structural elements, draws a perfect circle based on gravity alone.light is reflected through the weave, which lets it shine through in a pleasantly suffused manner, softly and elegantly illuminating the rooms. The name Ombra is inspired by the materials with which the product is made, in particular the technical fabric that is normally used in architecture to protect outdoor spaces from the sun.

The light reflects through the texture, allowing it to pass through in a pleasantly soft way, gently and elegantly illuminating the surroundings.

Ombra wall version 165cm, with structure in satin black finish.
Ombra floor version with structure in matte black finish and base in black marquina marble.

«I thought to use a piece of fabric that relying on gravity would trace a perfect circle, from whose fragility emanates aesthetic pleasure.»
J. Blasi

RENDEZ-VOUS
Design: Philip Platino
Inspired by a universal concept of beauty and harmony: the golden ratio.

Generated by a mathematical relationship, the golden ratio is an aesthetically pleasing and harmonious form frequently found in nature, art, architecture and design. The union of this canon of beauty and the concept of ‘miniaturism’ gives rise to Rendez-vous, a suspension lamp that can be designed individually or in clusters. The name represents the encounter between the beam of light and the surface that is illuminated. Size is one of the key points of the product, which is one of the lightest and smallest on the market. Furthermore, the construction allows each structural element to be hidden inside, allowing for total harmony between the structure and the suspension cable.

Rendez-vous fits naturally into any kind of environment, in cluster or single elements. It can be installed individually or in multiple scenographic compositions, in clusters or linear arrangements, achievable through the use of canopies and custom designed accessories.

SUPERBOLD
Design: Favaretto&Partners
From the simplicity of the circle, a precise sign that with its soft, timeless shape dialogues with space in a discreet manner.

Designed to be versatile and functional, Superbold is an example of design that meets practical needs, but never renounces to beauty. A product that, with its discreet charm, fits perfectly into any context, creating intimate and refined atmospheres. A ceiling light that combines elegance and functionality, designed to illuminate gracefully without overpowering the space. Its simple circular shape represents the essence of diffused and harmonious lighting. A perfect fusion of aesthetics and utility.

A circumscribed circle, a mark, a line, a beam of light that, from flat, takes on volume in three dimensions like a halo or a donut…

«Light is our filter to things and to the beauty of the world.»
F. Favaretto

The small footprint and the diffused light filtering through the opaque technopolymer ring allows it to furnish and illuminate different types of environments from walls to ceilings.

CÔTE
Design: Jordi Pla
The refined craftsmanship of glass meets timeless elegance.

Côte is a collection of blown glass lamps inspired by a distinctive finish used in the artisanal watchmaking industry: the ‘Côte de Genève’. This fine workmanship, found on the metal backs of some handmade automatic watches, picks up on the delicate low relief of the waves of Lake of Léman in Switzerland. Côte is a distinctive element that, even when switched off, enriches rooms with its elegant design and fascinating texture. The regular rhythm of the ribbed surface interacts with the emitted and natural light, creating a striking and refined effect. Available in white and smoked finishes, the texture of the etched glass comes alive with light, projecting soft nuances and discreet yet precious reflections.

«Light is the magical aspect of everything.»
J. Pla
